# Privacy Policy: box3-backup

box3-backup is an internal tool operated by EconoChannel. It is used only by EconoChannel to store

backup copies of EconoChannel's own server in EconoChannel's own Google Drive. It is not offered to

the public and no outside users sign in to it.

## What the app accesses

The app requests a single Google permission: "See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google

Drive files you use with this app" (drive.file). It can read and write only the backup files it

creates itself. It cannot see, open or list any other files in the Google Drive account.

## How the data is handled

- Backups are encrypted on EconoChannel's server before they are uploaded. Google stores only

encrypted files and cannot read their contents, names or folder structure.

- The encryption password never leaves EconoChannel's server and is never sent to Google.

- No data obtained through Google APIs is sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising,

or used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

- Data is used only to store and restore EconoChannel's own backups.

box3-backup's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API

Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

## Retention and deletion

Backups are kept on a rotating schedule (daily, weekly and monthly copies) and older copies are

deleted automatically. EconoChannel can remove the app's access at any time from its Google Account

security settings (Third-party apps with account access), and can delete the backup folder from

Google Drive.
